Fixed a few bugs.  added a couple of things to polish the game a little (sound effects, minor graphical updates). There is now a 2nd level. 

Upcoming - 

 A scoring system.

More blocks in different colors and will take more hits to break. 

Indicators at screen edges to mark incoming enemies.

More levels.

More monsters with different behaviors.

Boss levels???

Upgrades, such as - 

Jet-pack to give full control of character for a limited amount of time.

Potions to replenish damaged hearts.

Limited ammo in various types.
